QUALITY

API has established, documented and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. The system is maintained and continually improved through the use of the quality policy, quality objectives, audit results, analysis of data, corrective action and management review.

API has determined the process needed for QMS, their application throughout the organization and documented them on the QAP and process Flow Chart.

OUR MEASURING EQUIPMENTS ARE

  1. CMM (co ordinate measuring machine)

A coordinate measuring machine is a device that measures the geometry of physical objects by sensing discrete points on the surface of the object with a probe. Various types of probes are used in CMMs.

  2. Mitutoyo Surface Roughness Tester

Surface roughness often shortened to roughness, is a component of surface texture. It is quantified by the deviations in the direction of the normal vector of a real surface from its ideal form

  3. Bore Indicator

These are a range of gauges that are used to measure a bore's size, by transferring the internal dimension to a remote measuring tool

  4. Analog Rockwell Hardness tester

The Rockwell scale is a hardness scale based on indentation hardness of a material

  5. FASNE Digital Portable Hardness Tester, DHT 6

The Leeb Rebound Hardness Test (LRHT) is one of the four most used methods for testing metal hardness

  6. Mitutoyo Micrometers

A micrometer is a device incorporating a calibrated screw widely used for accurate measurement of components in mechanical engineering and machining.

  7. Mitutoyo vernier

A vernier scale is a visual aid to take an accurate measurement reading between two graduation markings on a linear scale by using mechanical interpolation.

  8. Refractometer

A refractometer is a laboratory or field device for the measurement of an index of refraction The index of refraction is calculated from Snell's law while for mixtures

  9. Digital Height Gauge

A height gauge is a measuring device used for determining the height of objects, and for marking of items to be worked on.

  10. Thread Ring Gauges

A ring gauge, is a cylindrical ring of a thermally stable materialoften steel, whose inside diameter is finished to gauge tolerance and is used for checking the external diameter of a cylindrical object

Full dimension checks are carried out on all components being produced every hour unless any specific instructions are required by our customers.
